Came here to celebrate a very special birthday and the restaurant did not disappoint. All the servers went absolutely above and beyond to give us a great experience and they truly delivered. All the dishes were absolute pieces of art, from the plating to the flavors - every dish was clearly curated to provide a perfect and balanced bite. Truly cannot recommend them enough, especially if you come for sunset, as they have panoramic views of the beach into the Mediterranean sea.
We had lunch there (it's only open for lunch on Tuesdays) and had a great time. There's no 'business lunch' menu but there is a 15% discount on the entire menu.
The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed (with beautiful scenery of the beach), the service was impeccable and the food really good. I highly recommended the fillet steak which was one of the best I've eaten. Their chocolate & coffee dessert is also incredible.

Animar by chef Hillel Tavakuli is a great Restaurant! Fascinating food from local produce- Mediterranean cuisine at it’s best 👍🏻👍🏻 No doubt about chef skills here-The food is just awesome, the service at a very high level and great vibe to this space with big windows through you can watch the Tel -Aviv beach. Excellent cocktails too🍸We will certainly come back.

Highly recommended. This place is in the "50 best of the middle east" list for a reason.
Like many restaurants in Tel Aviv these days, this restaurant offers a "new Israeli" cuisine, but I feel that it takes a bold approach on this, combining Persian and north African tastes.
The menu is pretty big, especially for a place such as this which would usually offer a more concise menu. However, everything we tasted was very good. The small plate of labneh with tomatoes cooked in vinegar was surprisingly delicious. The fish fillet with risotto and tahdig tuille especially stood out. The dessert, spice ice cream with crumble, was tasty but lacked body.
The atmosphere is kinda loud and lounge-y, this is a good place for medium groups, and less so for a romantic dinner, even considering the proximity to the beach.
As always with this kind of place, it's on the expensive end. Our bill came at 700 NIS (total for two people), including sparkling water, wine, and tea.

Amazing Experience and food
The spicy Octopus & Shrimp skewer on a corn sauce is without a doubt one of the best dishes I ever had anywhere
I then had the amazing (yeah, already said that 😉) Sweetbreads dish. The sauce, fresh herbs and meat itself were fantastic
My friend had the beef fillet skewer which was also perfectly cooked and of high quality, although I personally found the sauce a bit too sweet for my liking
The service was also excellent. We sat on the bar and the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable
We came in the early evening, so also got to enjoy the sunset
Overall, definitely fun and to repeat
