We had dinner at Gigi’s Montauk during the off-season in May and honestly it completely exceeded our expectations. We almost decided to leave and try one of the many other restaurants in Montauk, but we’re so glad we stayed because the experience ended up being amazing from start to finish.
The atmosphere was beautiful — calm, upscale, and relaxed without being overcrowded. Going during the off-season was perfect because the restaurant felt intimate and peaceful while still having a great energy. The interior design and ambiance were absolutely stunning and fit the whole luxury Montauk vibe perfectly.
The food was genuinely excellent. Everything we ordered was well-presented, fresh, and full of flavor. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly, the pasta was incredible, the sides were delicious, and even dessert impressed us. You can tell the kitchen actually cares about quality and presentation.
What really made the night stand out though was the service. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and made the experience feel smooth and effortless the entire evening. Nothing felt rushed and everyone was extremely professional and friendly.
We went in expecting a typical hotel restaurant experience and left genuinely impressed. Gigi’s turned out to be one of the highlights of our Montauk trip. Definitely worth giving a chance — especially if you’re staying at Gurney’s or visiting Montauk during the quieter season.
Second summer coming to Gigi’s and was really impressed with the food (and martinis) again! Very tasty and good menu, attentive service and the outdoor area is so nice even when it’s dark. Steak and tuna hamachi was awesome
I got pathogenic E. Coli for a week and ruined my vocation!! After eating bread, octopus starter and lobster pasta, I immediately felt stomach pain and went to throw up. I didn’t have any issues before dinning here Then the entire following week I had multiple bathroom accidents and abdominal cramps for a week. I went to check with a doctor and got stool test after 8 days dinning which came back with pathogenic E. Coli positive. I immediately got better with prescribed antibiotics. Careful what you eat:/
Amos and Edgar were amazing! They’re really pay attention to details. The food are always good! Thank you for your hospitality.. We had great night celebrating our friend’s birthday 🎂
