Came here for a private event out on the gorgeous patio at sunset. Loved the setting and the space.
Service was great and the staff were very attentive. Food and drinks logistics were managed impeccably.
I'm not usually a fan of buffet style presentation but this event had both passed canapés and a buffet area. As far as buffet goes, they managed to maintain the high standards you'd expect for such an event. Stations were clean from start to finish. The veal from the buffet tasted amazing and the bottomless lobster and king crab station was very well done and didn't disappoint.
There was an open bar and drinks were also being passed and kept coming at a tasteful pace. I appreciated the zero proof options for myself.
Overall had a wonderful experience at Le Bilboquet Sag Harbor and would highly recommend it!
An absolute beautiful place with great experience and an awesome place to see the sunset while having a drink. Great service, had a really good time the few times I visited this place. Would definitely return.
If I could give it zero stars I would. Staff was extremely discriminatory. Bathroom was horrendous, I went to lock the door in the stall and it fell off the door. No toilet paper, garbage everywhere. Music was terrible, and crowd was generally off putting. Also was physically assaulted by another patron and staff refused to intervene. Should have listened to the 3.4 stars. Never going back.
Location and setting are beautiful right on the water. Atmosphere, inside and out, is very pretty. However, the food was a five at best and because of the ridiculously high prices, the score should really be a two. The service was fine but very slow.
Also note that there is NO dress code regardless of the texts you receive when confirming your reservation and all the signs posted everywhere you look at the restaurant. While we were eating, many, many men and women were enjoying the restaurant in shorts, t-shirts, baseball hats and flip-flops. Do not let any employee tell you otherwise because it is not true - they DO NOT enforce any kind of dress code (at least at brunch).
The staff were very accommodating. They held our table for us despite being late by over an hour. One of us wore flip flops because we intended to go to the beach after, but quickly found out that was not permitted here. They kindly let us know that they can continue to hold our table and even gave us suggestions on where to purchase appropriate shoes. It took some time to find suitable shoes, but they sat us right away once we returned.
The food came out a little slow, but we didn’t mind because we were catching up. However, the dessert came out REALLY slow.
Everything tasted and looked good, so I guess it was worth it.
