Really amazing service some of the best we’ve had in a long time. some of the dishes were excellent especially the trout, some didn’t work quite as well as I would’ve liked obviously it’s small plates and you have to order quite a bit to get full. spent about £90 per person for two for the food that you can see in the pictures as well as a bottle one. for an innovative Michelin quality food This is decent. also have a tasting menu for £65 per person. would recommend wanted a bit more from some of the dishes in terms of uniqueness and innovation. Would still highly recommend.
My favourite restaurant in Manchester. The food is incredible! creative without feeling forced, with the kind of flavours that genuinely surprise you in the best way.
Everything we had was excellent, my favourite was the pasta, but also everything else! the place has such a relaxed, chilled-out atmosphere that makes it very easy to settle in and enjoy the evening.
One of those rare restaurants that feels exciting and comforting at the same time. Always worth coming back to.
I discovered this bistro through the Michelin Bib Gourmand list and decided to give it a visit. The food absolutely lived up to expectations, with beautifully prepared dishes that were full of flavor and care. The wine pairing was excellent as well, thoughtfully selected and perfectly matched to the meal. On top of that, the waiters were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a place I’d happily return to.
Me and husband went here for early valentine dinner and chose the seasonal sharing menu. We sat on the open kitchen area. It was fascinating to see the chefs works! The foods were sensational from the first course to the dessert. I can’t pick my favorite because it’s soo good. Will come back here for our anniversary for sure!
We had an amazing anniversary dinner at Higher Ground! The atmosphere was smart and sophisticated, and the food exceeded all our expectations. Every dish was a highlight: my son absolutely loved the pork pasta, and my husband was very impressed with the seafood soup and the dessert. For me, the rhubarb dessert was the star of the show—simply divine. We truly enjoyed every moment of the evening. Highly recommended!
