Merloza

Dishes were made up of healthy fresh ingredients, the mix was original and the result very tasty! Our only disappointment was the fish cubes (fish somewhat dry, and nothing particular to remember). We had the ceviche, laid on a soup gaspacho, zucchini and fish swarma, with the lemon pie in desert. We recommend all of them! We went there in the evening, with all surrounding shops/restaurants closed, so on the one hand, quiet, and on the other hand gave a strange feeling of empty streets. Surely, lunch would feel very different! Last, we felt that the price was well worth it.

Great experience! The food is delicious. We tried almost everything on the menu, except okra and one of the fish. We started with the fish skewers and they were all excellent! The green salad is very good - we ordered it twice! The fish cubes were very tender and excellent! The whole baked fish looked like it was burned but it was one of the most yummy fish we ate! I will definitely be visiting this place again. Lunch/dinner.

Love this place, this is a hidden gem in the Carmel Market, simple looking at the beginning, but then you get to the food - wonderful fish dishes combined veggie options all are fresh and very tasty. We booked a table in advance, Monday Eve right at the opening time (19:00). Service is great, very chill and professional. We ordered a couple of dishes from the aperitif menu (40-50 NIS and drinks 20-25) And from the main menu, that was very mesmerizing because all the options look great. Totally a VFM place Definitely will come back

A super cute fish & seafood restaurant, with a seasonal menu. We were a group of 4 friends, booked a table during their HH and wanted to try as many dishes as possible so we went for a sharing meal. For starters, we ordered the focaccia bread (that was delicious, especially for dipping it in all the sauces and leftover juices of the dishes we ordered later) and the spicy plate (included a green zhug, red zhug, garlic confit and some roasted hot green chilis). From the cold dishes section we went for the amberjack sashimi (the fish was high quality & fresh, but it wasn't an exciting dish) the green ceviche (by far the best dish during this meal, with an addictive sauce that we soaked our focaccia into until the last drop of it), the tomato carpaccio (ordered it based on the waiter's recommendation, but it was our least favorite of the bunch as we fund it quite banal & boring) and the thai salad from the specials menu (one of our favorites of the meal - a thai salad with crispy fried fish on top, that was absolutely delicious). From the hot dishes we ordered the roasted greens (nothing too special, but a very delicious & fresh dish), the mullet fish skewer (the fish was a bit dry, with a bit of a fishy taste) and the sea bream skewer (definitely the better one of the two - it was tender & moist with great grilled and charred flavors). Since this was during their HH, it came out a really high VFM meal, and though the restaurant was quite empty, there still was a nice vibe and the service was kind and friendly.

WOW! We were at the merloza carmel on Friday morning after a trip in the market. We sat there to drink excellent beer (I think it was Estrella) and amazing dishes like ceviche, artichoke, salad. Charming service and wonderful music that gives a great mood.
