Springleaf Prata Place

Being as objective as I am. Tried springleaf Prata at different outlets before, e.g. springleaf, rainbow center and rail mall and this new outlet. Food wise is definitely consistent or in fact, this is one of their better one across the franchise(shoutout to rainbow center as well). Ordered their egg,kosong,nasi goreng kampung and hot barley. Curry is self helped with sugar and kept warmed though serving plate is generally small. Place is air conditioned and clean (probably because new) and cosy. Ordering can be done via scanning of qr Code on table so fuss free. Serve return tray to a specific point. For the bad, Service was slow, and I mean really quite slow. Easily have to wait 15-20mins just for kosong. Place is also relatively small, guess at best accommodate under 50 pax. Lots of food are sold out in their menu as well. Not sure if it's due to new outlet or so. To be fair, I went during their promotion,so I believe they are overwhelmed and understaff. In conclusion, still will visit and support but hope to see improvement in terms of servicing. If disregarding service and lack of food options, food is definitely top notch. Will pose as a strong competitor to al ameen nearby

Springleaf Prata Place is a Michelin star Indian restaurant with really good prata and noodles. I personally got some Maggie Goreng and one plain prata. The noodles were juicy yet it wasn’t overwhelming to my tastebuds and the prata was crispy and for one piece, it was surprisingly a big portion. The place even has self serve curry and sugar which really sells the deal on this place. All this for $7 and I want to come back for seconds. The only complaint I would have is that the table I came too was clearly dirty and had some flies on it. The place itself is clean enough and air conditioned too at least. Service is fast too. Overall, would prata again

We were pleased with our dining experience, thanks to the diverse menu options and good service. Prem stood out for his attentive and friendly service. The prata was good and crispy, the Springleaf signature! Can’t wait to try their thosai and teh pandan next time – unfortunately, they were out of stock during our visit. Happy to have them in our neighborhood!

Cleanliness can be greatly improved. Despite the lack of crowd, the tables are dirty. The coffee initially served was so sweet and we had to request to change the coffee. Prata wise, comparable to original springleaf but not the best. Springleaf is better, woodlands' cheese prata uses a different cheese (tastes more pungent)

Found this outlet in my Woodlands CC. Nice cold air-con in the hot afternoon. Order the Mini Ultimate Murtabak which is made with tandoori chicken and mozzarella cheese. Self service to chicken and fish curry on the side. The prata was crispy and the onion was well cooked and not oily. It was like having a prata pizza. 😋. Curry was a bit thin. But the murtabak was tasty enough to eat on its own.
