We dropped in here for a pitstop glass of wine and ended up drinking more than a glass and eating some Of the delicious small plates. Very friendly staff, lovely wine and fresh grown produce. The asparagus was delicious and pared beautifully with the wine we drank
Had a great selection of small plates at St John. It focuses on nose to tail eating which results in some really interesting dishes; the pig bun and the crispy beef being real highlights for me. The wine/drink selection was good and the service was fantastic.
We went here for a glass of wine as a pit stop on our wanderings around London. There was a decent but not overwhelming choice of wine by the glass. We tried a couple each, 2 off the specials list and they were all delicious. It’s a small space so you need to be comfortable sitting close to people but staff are friendly and efficient. We ended up ordering a couple of dishes, including the sausages and potted duck. Lovely flavours and great as a snack to keep you going.
