A nice pub with a great selection of drinks, but unfortunately not a good experience this evening on the food front.
There was an incredibly limited selection of food available, which we weren't told when we took our table. No pizzas at all, very few mains and very few starters.
Pardon peppers to start were hot but raw. The kitchen kindly re-did them and they were much better, however I was challenged by a member of staff who told me "well they were cooked for a set period of time". We were offered a free round of drinks for this which was appreciated.
My friend has fish and chips which was okay. I had the smash burger which was sadly very dry, cold and bland. The chips that came with it were good.
On the whole a great bar, but I wouldn't recommend eating there based on my experience. However, they may have just been having a bad night.
Great selection of beers and ciders, nice atmosphere and chill music, and reasonable prices for London. The Canadian (I think manager based on other reviews) was very friendly and knew the menu very well, made good recommendations. Definitely recommend if you're in Clapham and fancy a good beer for sub-£7.

We had a great recent experience hiring the back room here for a party to celebrate our upcoming baby. The team were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We'd been there before and had liked it as it's a good pub and has a nice range of beers on tap.

Literally gave me food poisoning from undercooked food.
First we had to send back the padron peppers as they were hot but raw, (after some backchat from the server as if they had been cooked properly and we couldn’t tell). My friend barely ate his burger and I ate half my fish, which must have also been hot but raw, as I have spent the last few days throwing up.
I emailed the venue to ask what they planned to do because clearly whomever was cooking that night was not trained, but they never responded so I feel compelled to write this review to warn others. They also didn’t have 90% of the menu available in the first place (no pizza, half starters, less than half of mains) which we weren’t told when we took our table and had already sat at the bar for 30 minutes. Were offered a free drink during our meal which was appreciated but clearly not worth the awful experience.
