Great Thai fusion food, small plates, open kitchen.
First thing we tired, the beef with dill and coriander was cooked brilliantly, with a refreshing sauce too.
The Gaiyang chicken with smoked chilli I highly recommend it, super juicy and tender.
We also had rump that was cooked exactly to our liking, they’re really good at this.
The clay pot glass noodle is a must order, every table had one, it’s flavourful though I can’t really taste the tamworth belly or crab meat in it.
Finally the jungle curry with smoked kippers are lovely too.
They don’t have a lot of seatings and this place is quite crowded especially at dinner times. I do like that the menu often changes so we can try new things.
One small complaint would be we got seated right by the door, and their corridor isn’t the widest, they don’t have the most comfortable seats either, mostly bar tables and it gets slightly chilly everytime people come in and out. It’s a cosy vibe but the music is quite loud so conversation is slightly harder. The seats right in front of the open kitchen do look cool though. Nonetheless lovely attentive service.
We came around 5:30 on a Thursday and lucked right into a spot. The servers were super nice, and the food came fairly quickly. The noodles and lamb skewer were great—the monkfish cheek spice got us for sure though! Overall a really fun experience. Unique food at a good price. Come try some things out and see what sticks!
Good Asian fusion food! Rather noisy and busy atmosphere but adds to its charm. The grilled chicken was very flavourful! While the fried cod collar was very tasty, it was just the slightest bit salty. The claypot glass noodles is a favourite amongst my friends. It was interesting eating Asian food with a knife and fork!
Loved it!
All dishes were great. I liked particularly the rump cap, the gai yang, and monkfish curry.
Pad ped of cull yaw is spicy. It's nice if you're sharing across 2-3 people but was too spicy for one.
Walk-in only.
Having walked past here on numerous occasions, today I finally went in! Service was helpful, friendly and attentive. My favourite dish was the pad ped cull yaw which was super spicy but delicious and bursting with flavour. Shame the rump was sold out. Disappointed with that and the replacement tongue dish didn’t quite hit the spot. Glass noodles were tasty. Mackerel was delicious. Grilled chicken was super tender. Clams were zesty! I Heartily recommend this place. Will return!
