Customer Perception
Customers consistently praise the restaurant for its authentic, flavourful food, generous portion sizes, and exceptional, welcoming service. Many consider it a 'hidden gem' for its quality and value. While the atmosphere is cozy, some reviewers note that the menu is meat-heavy, which can limit options for strict vegetarians or those with specific dietary restrictions.
Wow wow wow. Everything was a solid 10/10. No notes. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, so clean and a great selection of food to choose from. Authentic food that tastes so flavourful - not a single thing tastes bad or bland. All the food comes with some kind of sauce or accompaniment. Best Uzbek food in London.
The honey cake to finish off was the cherry on top - it’s so tasty and not overly sweet. We had a passion fruit sorbet and banana ice cream as well - they have a massive ice cream selection as well with cones/tubs. Best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. Will be back for sure. We spent around £30 each but we ate a lot for 2 people…we had 1 starter, 2 mains, 3 desserts and 2 pots of tea. We were absolutely stuffed and the portion sizes are nice and big as seen in the photos. You could definitely share a main between 2 comfortably.
I recommend trying the authentic Uzbek tea as well, it was delicious.
This is such a cute little spot, very tucked away inside the Bayswater shopping centre. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, and the customer service was really good. The food didn’t take too long to arrive, which was a plus. They also serve tea in different flavours, and it was genuinely unique. I’ve had tea in many places, but this one was very different, which I really liked.
That said, the menu is quite meat-heavy. My friend, who is vegetarian, struggled to find enough options, so we ended up ordering something small and leaving. I also don’t eat beef or pork, which limited my choices. I think pure vegetarians or those with dietary restrictions might find it difficult here. However, if you do eat meat, there are plenty of dishes to choose from.
Excellent and delicious 😋 food. It was yummy - the Uzbek 🇺🇿 dumplings were the best - well seasoned and just great. The black tea was really nice and the atmosphere was great - the music and person serving was so friendly and very welcoming. Would highly recommend this restaurant in Queensway and will be going back again.
What a find! It takes a while to discover this place - the location is obscure - but the food absolutely makes up for it. Delicious, freshly-cooked food, generous portions and fabulous service. Soup, main and one side salad to share and you have a whole meal. No alcohol helps keep the price down, but the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the location. Great fun!
Outstanding! Plov blew our minds! This is truly a hidden gem if you’re looking for home-like authentic Uzbek cuisine. A definite highlight for our trip. The place is tucked inside a little mall so make sure to get inside and ask directions if you still can’t find it 🙂
