I was excited to try the sausage breakfast burrito at Bad Manners, especially as they’re filling a nice gap in the Shoreditch market. The tortilla was excellent - clearly handmade rather than store-bought - and everything tasted freshly made with all the ingredients present. Customer service was friendly too.
That said, the burrito was lukewarm overall, including the sausage meat inside, which wasn’t steaming hot. It could have done with a couple more minutes on the grill. Flavour-wise it was perfectly fine and close to being very good, but it didn’t quite deliver that standout taste I was hoping for.
There are now a few better breakfast burritos around London (though they are pricier) that serve them nice and hot. Still, it has real potential.
No it’s actually soooo good. I’ve been twice in the last couple weeks. Im from the US so I’m always on the hunt for a great breakfast burrito and I haven’t found one until now. There literally is no competition other than bad manners !!. Obsessed !!
Absolutely loved this place! One of the best Mexican breakfast spots in London – their breakfast burritos are incredible and the flavours feel really authentic.
I had the Egg & Bean (V) with slow-braised beans, soft omelette, crispy tater tots, cheddar, pico de gallo and salsa verde – seriously delicious.
Plus, the location is super cool, right on a church square with a nice food truck vibe. Perfect spot for a chill morning! 🌮☀️
Stumbled on these guys today just down from my uni and it properly made my day. Used to go to them when they were pitched at Hackney church cemetery back when I lived nearby, food was brilliant then and it's still brilliant now, genuinely missed these burritos.
Friendly lads, always up for a chat while they're putting your order together, and the burrito was seriously good. Can't recommend enough.
