Cocina De Barrio - Encinitas

The food was delicious however I would not say it is authentic Oaxacan. The mole negro was spicy and not sweet. The cafe de olla was lacking the traditional taste and aroma. The reason I will try the rest of the menu items is because the service is amazing. Jackie is very knowledgeable and welcoming.

Stopped in after visiting the flower fields. The place was beyond our expectations. The food was amazing as well as the cocktails. Both the chile verde and Mole were amazing. The employees were very welcoming and atmosphere was very pleasant. I highly recommend this place.

Incredible interesting and delicious Mexican cuisine. Great ceviche, moles, fish, and cocktails. Loved the dinner and experience. Bonus having a dog friendly patio.

Found this place by accident. The atmosphere is great , absolutely love the decor. Service was great too! Our server was a gentleman who said he was new-ish to the restaurant but he was phenomenal! The food was good but I was surprised at the lack of taco options. :( not a single classic on there. The ceviche looked beautiful but also not quite what I expected. The corn was DELICIOUS. I’d go back and get that as my main dish and one to go. Drinks were tasty and super cute. Loved , loved the paleta idea. Overall I’d go back!
