Found this place on Yelp. And I gotta tell you it pretty much lived up to the hype and our own expectations. The menu feels healthy. Who's to say you can't have a bomb breakfast and be a little health aware. The menu had inspired me to grab a side a fruit with my pancakes, sausage n eggs. The eggs were done right, the sausage was a quality turkey and the pancakes were gluten-free. Now, I will say the gluten-free does gives a different feel to the traditional pancake. Not fluffy n light. It's more condensed aaaand.... different. Good jus different. Gluten-free is something I'm personally am not a huge fan of. Or used to I should say. So I jus buttered n doused em in syup and I left pretty satisfied. Service was great. No hazelnut creamer(my go to)for a coffee. So they server suggested and accommodated with a hazelnut syrup in an iced latte. Damn that was good! We ate outside where they had a nice patio. Didn't browse the inside much but it looked real nice with lots of room. Also noticed there were homemade jarred jams n jellys for purchase. All in all, it was a nice spot. Fitting for families and friends to get together. Right next to a theater n shops in a great area. Stop in and check it out!
We went for our brunch here recently on our visit to Carlsbad. We got pancakes, chicken strips, yogurt and chicken bowl. We also got an excellent Chai Latte that I would recommend. We got the seating pretty quickly and the service was very good and people were very friendly. We didn't like the bowl all that much but everything else, pancakes etc., were excellent and in good quantity. Overall it was an excellent experience for us, thank you!
We ordered a bunch of breakfast items but I could only take a picture of what I got which is coconut french toast; AMAZING!
Despite missing strawberry for strawberry shortcake pancake I still rate 5⭐️ for the service, and all credit goes to whoever picked up my call this morning ( I forgot to ask for the name ). She quickly apologized and gave the credit for that itwm back. I truly appreciate it.
5⭐️ for food. I tried a bit of everything but had I known the coconut cream going to be thisss good, I would have asked for extra cream. So if you are about to get this item, please go for extra coconut cream on the side.
1⭐️ for atmosphere cause I did delivery. Will def edit if I do dine in one day.
Happy overall!
We enjoyed two good meals, the Miga chorizo was so much better than the carnitas, which missed the flavor and warmth mark. Try the gluten free muffin for an added bread, it was soft but lacked flavor. A dirty chai is a nice way to get the meal started, very good flavor and just right. Our service was excellent, well done.
A very good sit down eatery for breakfast and lunch.
Fresh house made everything.
Servers were busy and operating at their own pace…which didn’t seem to sit well with lunchtime business people wanting to get back to work.
Fancy, well to do business people and small families and lots of youngsters.
I had a very good small bowl of house made clam chowder. It needed Tabasco. The didn’t have any.
Good food just as their other sister stores nearby
