Today was my first time at city Winery New York.
But before I talk about City Winery- let me state for clarity- ITS LOCATED AT PIER 57!!
T.Murph- The Comedian was performing & I must admit- he's great!
He was very funny but very human. Not the comedian who picks on people - though that could be fun too- T.Murph has his personal style which focuses on real life- I enjoy that a lot. It helps lighten life a bit knowing I'm not alone in all these issues.
We ate at City Winery- at our table within the venue- and the food was very good for venue food.
The drinks were equally good. The service was good enough under the circumstances... A live show was being performed.
We parked underground. It was quick, smooth and very convenient.
City Winery is not full on- upscale, Nor is it any old location either. It sits somewhere in between.
Also, good to know- as soon as you walk in the main doors, there is a manned security booth.
Pier 57 looks busy, fun and with many places to explore. We only attended the show- and went on with our night elsewhere- due to our plans. However, I must admit- we wish to return and find out about their wines and all the other things to do there.
This venue is located on the water with beautiful sunsets to enjoy.
I definitely recommend City Winery New York.
My wife and I attended a wonderful show at this establishment. Headliner pebo Bryson singer a blast from the past . His voice was great and he went off stage in to the crowd saying im not scared of you ! The only song I didn't hear was let the feeling flow . But all was really great as he told stories and even played the guitar. His back up female singers was fabulous. Another set back was the 28 dollar burger and the special was 27 dollars . But the hot honey pizza was amazing! Great spot on 11th Ave on the water view. The sangria was incredible and Emma our server was amazing professional and sweet and engaging. Wonderful customer service romantic ambiance.
The Arturo o’ Farrel show was fantastic. The music and performance., The price was excellent. The venue has great sound , nice staff, the wine was good and typical prices. I did not try the food. The set up
Of tables is a bit strange to watch the show and the chairs uncomfortable. There was a some list in the house but his service was not offered until you have a wine related question. There should be more detail information of the wines they offer.
attended the ABBA brunch event at this venue. the tables were very close to one another so we scooted over a tad. i had the breakfast burger which was decent but HUGE to the point where each bite kinda slides off the bun so be ready for a mess (unless you eat w fork & knife 🥸). also tried the french toast pudding - very wet like a tres leches cake. the food was a lot more than i expected & quite filling
Nice and clean wine restaurant. When they have an event the line needs to better organized. They had people going in a circles just to get into the venue. Food was delicious and great options to choose from. The wine choices was fantastic and huge selection. Definitely, classy and sexy vibe. I love that there was a parking garage connected to the building. You don't have to step outside if it's cold. Lalah Hathway was beautiful, fantastic voice, classy.
