5 Star Hotel

The Rosewood London is a masterclass in luxury. From the moment you enter the stunning courtyard patio, you are met with an atmosphere that is both grand and intimate. Located in an ideal part of town, it provides seamless access to vibrant areas like Soho while remaining a sophisticated sanctuary within the city.
The Rooms & Service
The service here is impeccable—proactive, warm, and professional across every department. The rooms are generously spacious and designed for genuine comfort, offering a perfect retreat with a level of character that modern luxury hotels often lack.
Dining Flexibility
I appreciated having two distinct options for breakfast. The standard included option (buffet plus some a la carte) is good, though not exceptional. However, the breakfast in the Mirror Room is outstanding. While it comes at a higher price point, the quality and service are world-class and well worth the upgrade for a special morning experience.
Scarfes Bar
Scarfes Bar is a destination in its own right and a primary reason to stay here. Ranked as one of the best bars in the world, it lives up to its reputation with creative cocktails and phenomenal live music every night. It adds a vibrant, soulful energy to the property that makes the stay truly memorable.
Verdict
The Rosewood London delivers exactly what a 5-star hotel should: effortless charm, spacious comfort, and unique amenities. Whether you are there for the music at Scarfes or the quiet luxury of the rooms, it is easily one of the finest stays in London.
I had a really enjoyable stay at Rosewood London.
I arrived quite late, and Lori checked me in very warmly. She explained the two breakfast locations, the hotel amenities and made the arrival feel smooth after a long travel day. The suite itself was beautiful. I especially loved the marble bathroom, with its bathtub and spacious marble shower with a marbly built-in bench.
The staff throughout the stay were genuinely kind and helpful. Concierge Alex noticed me coughing in my suite from the hallway and kindly checked if I was okay, which I thought was very attentive. He was also always helpful with my questions and good for a late-night chat whenever I returned from my late night walks. Filippo was also very kind and professional at reception and made sure I had everything I needed during checkout. Tiffany made me feel especially welcome and really elevated the stay with her warmth and attentiveness.
Breakfast was also very good. Atikul in the Holborn Dining Room and Tunde in the Mirror Room were both attentive and friendly. I can definitely recommend the pastries and the cloudy apple juice. The Mirror Room itself has a very unique and beautiful interior, and the marble staircase deserves an honourable mention too.
The hotel has a charming old-money feel with its cobblestone courtyard, classic interiors and overall atmosphere. The location is very central, with Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square within walking distance, and useful shops like Sainsbury’s and Superdrug nearby.
I did not use the spa or the terrace, although both looked nice. The terrace seemed like a lovely spot for drinks, BBQ or pizza, but who would have known, unfortunately it rained for most of my stay. There is no swimming pool, but if you stand outside long enough on an average London day, it has a similar effect.
Scarfes Bar is also worth visiting for cocktail enthusiasts. I had a unique cocktail there, and I liked that many of the drinks seemed to have their own story or inspiration behind them.
Overall, the whole team was kind and welcoming. The little touches, including the Hotel branded umbrellas and celebration sweets on the floors, added to the experience.
I flew in from the US for a movie premiere and I knew this was the hotel I needed to stay at for sure! My expectations were exceeded staying here for the week. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, they made me feel right at home! Food was great (ordered room service more than I can count). The restaurant downstairs was great for breakfast. The hotel is immaculate and very picturesque. Location is fantastic, walking distance from of restaurants, coffee shops and stores. You can't go wrong staying at the Rosewood!
it's a beautiful hotel close enough to transporation and food options. staff were friendly when interacting with. kid friendly and supplied some baby products and a nice stuffie. i booked via amex fhr and was caught offguard by the discretionary service fee added on.
My stay at the Rosewood London was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything I needed.
The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and felt both modern and luxurious—every detail was thoughtfully curated. The entire property is absolutely stunning, with elegant architecture and truly high-class amenities that elevate the experience.
This is a place that delivers on every level—service, comfort, and style. I would highly recommend it and cannot wait to return.
