Voted one of London's Best Italian Pasta Restaurants
The pasta was good and with friendly warm service. All our 04 dishes was good. I like the Carbonara silk handkerchiefs pasta with walnut butter ($18) with add on Truffle(£6). Good quality Truffle. It has a unique taste with flavourful walnut butter. A must try dish.
Gnocchi tomato straccia also tasty. The Spicy Pork Tagliatelle (£17) was not as good as the rest. It tasted like Bolognaise. The Spaghetti Garlic Chitarra (£10) pasta a little hard in texture. It will be perfect if it is softer.
Overall the service was prompt and attentive. The inhouse made pasta definitely deserved the Michelin Guide. A recommended affordable Italian restaurant in London.
The atmosphere is cosy and modern, with a relaxed Italian vibe that makes you feel comfortable straight away. The fresh pasta was definitely the highlight, rich in flavour, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with quality ingredients.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and overall the service was good even if a little slow at times during the busy hours. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but the food quality makes it worth it.
I visited with my wife for lunch on a Monday. Definitely off peak with just a couple of other tables occupied in what is quite a large space. We ordered the sourdough, tuna tartare, silk handkerchiefs pasta with walnut butter and the spaghetti alla chitarra. For dessert we tried the fior di latte with olive oil and the coffee creme caramel. The food was excellent. The tuna tartare had a nice kick from the chillies, and I really enjoyed their signature silk handkerchiefs which were very moreish and indulgent (worth noting that portion sizes were on the smaller side). If you’re a fan of olive oil ice creams, this was a pretty decent example but for me the coffee creme caramel was the easy winner of the two desserts.
Service was reasonably friendly and efficient. Our bill came to £108 of which £24 was spent on drinks. Overall a great lunch, this place exceeded expectations and I look forward to returning.
This is one of my favourite Italian restaurants. Their pasta is top quality and I like the fact the portion sizes aren’t big so you can try a couple of dishes.
We had the Tuna tartare, Buratta, Artichokes and Pasta with walnut sauce. Arrived is personalised and on point as always.
And to finish their signature Fior di Latte dessert, amazing!!
Went on a Tuesday evening for an early dinner. Nicely located in the vicinity of High St Ken station which was handy because it was pouring! By the time we finished the restaurant was buzzing with a nice atmosphere. Service was top notch. Waiting staff v attentive in a polite, non intrusive way. I asked whether any of the dishes could be made without alcohol and the waitress explained all the options which the chef could prepare without alcohol but still taste as good. I'm so pleased as I was a bit nervous to ask. I had the silk handkerchiefs with walnut butter and my friend had the cacio e pepe. Service was quick, and both dishes were lovely. Would return/visit other branches and recommend.
