Kojimachi Nihee is a high-end sushi restaurant in Chiyoda City, Tokyo, known for its exquisite omakase experience. It was formerly known as 'Sushi Inomata' and relocated from Kawaguchi, Saitama. The restaurant features a traditional setting, likely with a hinoki wood counter, and enforces a strict no-photo policy and a no-items-on-counter rule to preserve the dining experience and the counter's integrity. Reservations are managed through the Omakase platform, with a strict no-show policy.
Customers highly praise Kojimachi Nihee for its exceptional sushi quality, the chef's profound understanding of ingredients, and the impeccably clean environment. Many consider it among the best sushi experiences in Tokyo. However, some reviews highlight a significant increase in prices after the move from Kawaguchi to Tokyo. There's also feedback regarding a strict no-photo policy and, in some instances, perceived differentiated service from the chef based on customer ordering habits (e.g., sake vs. tea). The restaurant's uncontactable nature for reservation issues has also been a point of concern for some patrons.
The restaurant's move from Kawaguchi to Kojimachi marked a significant change, including a new name and a substantial increase in pricing, which customers attribute to the higher rent in Tokyo. Despite the price adjustment, many loyal patrons from its previous location continue to visit, attesting to the quality of the sushi.
As an omakase sushi restaurant, it is primarily a dinner destination. Reservations are highly recommended due to its popularity and intimate setting.
