EDIT: Got renamed to "Maza" with a new chef
Was a bit disappointed by the food. The chef used to run the Santa Katarina and I really liked it - but here it's all a bit weak what comes to taste. The green salad needed salt, the cigars were to oily - couldn't stay to a dessert. And service was a bit nervous that night - even though it wasn't full.
THIS is about the Cafe Berlin previously there:
A trendy new place in the new trendy neighborhood of nachalat Binyamin Street. In a similar style as Lemon Tree on the next block. And in fact Coowned by the same group. The menu is fresh, delicious salads a variety of small dishes. We had the fish shawarma and sea food plate. Both yummy. The latter had an amazing sauce.
Cocktails meanwhile on.. Good ones
A charming rustic gem in the heart of Tel Aviv with an effortlessly cool atmosphere and a carefully curated soundtrack. The energy is vibrant and buzzing, complemented by an impressive menu that spans both creative dishes and a thoughtfully selected drinks list. The attentive service rounds out the experience perfectly.
Friday night. Fun trendy dinner and yummy wine! However the waiters were "too much" for me. Asked every 2 seconds how the food is and hurried to clear plates. Like... Chill...
WOW! We're visiting from Los Angeles and came to Nehilat Benyamin based on our concierge recommendation. We were looking for a kosher restaurant and came upon Maza and we were very happy with our choice! We got the Mosar skewer and the steak skewer and they were very flavorful! The hamburger was juicy and tasty as well! Staff and waitress were very nice and gave great recommendations. I will definitely come back here!! Delicious. Creative menu. Great music and atmosphere.
