Everything about this place hit all the marks! The service is amazing and a welcome surprise in Tel Aviv where service can always be improved. The Caesar salad was one of the best because of their homemade dressing. Meat was cooked great! Don’t skip the lemon meringue pie!
I went there with my father to celebrate his birthday. We were late 20 min so we understood when the staff told us that we should hurry a bit.
The food was expensive and in my opinion and not worth the premium price. The atmosphere was fantastic so part of the justification is the view and the atmosphere.
What prompted me to give the 1 star review for the service is the fact that we were there for 2 hours total. I went, paid the bill and grabbed a smoke. The staff again came to me and asked me to hurry up.
When I’m paying premium prices I’m expecting to finish my meal comfortably, instead it felt like I was rushed out of the restaurant.
I won’t return because of that alone.
This restaurant is not bad. It's really not bad.
It's one of the most elegant restaurants I've ever been to in Israel, with a high-end setting and vibe. The charming music creates a magical and romantic atmosphere. The service is great; Waiters are very attentive.
The food is really nice: starters are original, meat cuts are fresh and tasty, while the homemade fries are truly special and super delicious!
I understand that this is a "fine dining" experience, so the starters are expected to be very modest in their size.
I understand that the restaurant is located inside a high-end hotel, which is reflected on the prices.
But... for 800 NIS (!!!) per person, I expect to be knocked out of my feet and/or to experience a "once-in-a-lifetime culinary orgasm". Unfortunately, my experience was a far cry from it. I could easily find a better meal at half price, as there are much better upscale steakhouses in Israel.
But you don't have to take my word for it. This place is definitely worth one visit, because as aforementioned, it's not bad. It's really not bad.
Everything we had was delicious! We started with the caesar salad and cocktails. Afterwards we had the strip steak, a tomahawk and a filet. The beef was delicious and high quality. For our sides we had the potatoes, fried onion, creamed spinach and green beans. The potato and fried onion was great. The green beans and creamed spinach was nothing special. Dessert was the royal sundae and the chocolate tart. I haven’t had a American style sundae, with toppings like sprinkles, a cherry, chocolate etc in Israel before on that level before. The chocolate tart was also delicious! I really felt like I was in a high quality steak house in the United States.
I am happy Tel Aviv has a steak house like this and I don’t get the bad reviews at all. The service was excellent and the sommelier helped us pick a great bottle of wine (they have a great selection). The place is extremely pricey but worth it. I do think it caters primarily to tourists because even for special occasions the place is expensive on a Israeli salary. Regardless I will be back and definitely recommend it!!!!!
The food was absolutely excellent, truly some of the best steaks I have ever had. The desserts were also incredible (seriously, don't skip them!).
Beyond the kitchen, the service was outstanding, making the whole evening feel special. I highly recommend this place for a top-tier dining experience.
