The Quality Wines

Super meal! The gildas and bifanas were dreamy! The lamb was top tier and scallops were delicious! Loved the orange wine and chilled red! We’ll be back.

The starter of rillettes was verging on bland and came solo with neither toast or bread. I’d ordered focaccia which was swimming in oil so not a good match with that or the fish course which had no carbs either. The fish was fresh but again under seasoned. The tart was perfectly cooked and delicious. For a wine bar the wine was esoteric and eye wateringly expensive for 125ml. 3 glasses came to £40+. Despite an empty restaurant I was perched on an uncomfortable stool. A very underwhelming experience never to be repeated.

This place is fantastic! We came here on a recommendation, but already had a few regular favourite places nearby. We decided to chance it, and were delighted that we did! The food was delicious - every dish was a hit! And our wonderful server, Kitty, was very knowledgeable and honest with her recommendations, and hit a home run with every one. We'll definitely be back again, it'll be one that I look forward to each time!

Quite expensive but we enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere was very cozy especially with the candles on the tables. There’s also outdoor seating if you like to enjoy the summer breezes. The salads were so good - the flavor combination is very sophisticated and it pairs very well with wine. The only thing is that the food is a tad pricy. We ordered a bottle of wine that is very very interesting. It tasted very mild we almost thought it’s not wine but it has 10%+ alcohol content!
