Tasty food and excellent service.
I tried the eggplant curry, curried cabbage, and mushroom buriani. Everything was enjoyable but nothing was exceptional.
Our favorite part of the meal were the breads we ordered on the side (hopper and roti) and their dessert drinks (a creamy chicory slushy and a guava lassi).
Food came quickly and the server team was very kind and friendly. It was a nice meal but one I’d be ok not repeating.
We had an absolutely great time. We went all out on this menu and enjoyed everything we got. The service was fantastic too. We were cold due to the aircon being directly on our table and without us asking, they said they turned it off for us. Great service. Overall food and service was 10/10
I understand why this restaurant has such high reviews.
We had reservations for a birthday dinner and were seated promptly upon arrival. The hostess the waiter, and the servers, were attentive throughout our dinner.
The menu offered plenty of options, including some vegetarian options. The food was well prepared and came out quickly. Everything was flavorful in the serving sizes were enough to feed you. As someone who loves seafood, the spicy seafood appetizer hit the spot perfectly.
Our server Vamshi/Vanshi(sp?) was always ready to explain the menu and the dishes. Furthermore, he was able to explain how some of dishes may pair up nicely. I also need to add that he was always attentive to us to make sure the food was good and we had plenty of drinks - and he then apologized because it as a busy night and he thought he didn't do a good job - if you see this Vamshin(sp?), you rock my dude!
The atmosphere is that of a lively restaurant, there is background noise which adds to the ambiance, the tables are decently spaced apart, and the lighting set a nice mood.
The staff did an amazing job of ensuring our birthday experience was exceptional and even included a candle in the dessert!!
I would definitely go back to sample more of the menu.
From the moment you step through the door at Hoppers, you’re welcomed like a regular. The team set a relaxed, family-style tone straight away — and within seconds the aromas drifting across the room have you instantly hungry and settled in.
We started with a local ale before moving onto a couple of their signature cocktails — perfectly balanced and pairing effortlessly with everything that followed.
The food itself was a full experience from start to finish. Every dish felt considered, but the bone marrow curry and the fish absolutely stole the show.
Honestly, get yourself there soon — it won’t stay a hidden gem for long.
Great food, the Bone Marrow Varuval starter was really really nice, lots of rich flavours 100% recommend! The Mutton rolls were also delicious. Service by Kerry was also exceptional! She explained the menu really well and has a lot of charisma! I will definitely be back!
